Latest Addiction: Last Cinderella

It’s been a while since the last time I have watched a Japanese drama once again, so I decided to check some websites to watch free online. And I decided to click on LAST CINDERELLA. I have been seeing/reading a lot of reviews about it but I have never checked it out until just recently. And just like the others, I really, really loved it!

Well, the Last Cinderella is about a 39 year old lady, Toyama Sakura (played by Shinohara Ryoko), who for the past 10 years, hasn’t had any relationship and is so drawn and dedicated to her work. He met Hiroto Saeki (Harumu Miura!!!!), young and gorgeous BMX driver at a party when she was so drunk. They spent the night together at Hiroko’s room, or should I say, she woke up realizing she was in a stranger’s bedroom and was lying beside him. She could not even remember anything that night and that Hiroko was now asking her to date him, she was smitten by his charming look but was still concern about their age difference, so she refused him. But Hiroto was so persistent, and still keeps on seeing her. Turns out that it was just a set up-planned by one of their regular client, Ooami Chiyoko, who is so in-love with Sakura’s manager and friend-enemy, Tachibana, who also turned out to be also in-love with Sakura, but hasn’t realized it yet until the end. Chiyoko sees Sakura as threat that is why she sent Hiroto to make Sakura fall in-love with him. And that is what happened and that is where the conflict started.
Well, I don’t wanna fall into details as I don’t wanna give too much spoilers. But I highly recommend this drama if you are also into Japanese Romantic-Comedy drama, and May-December love affair, and into happy endings. And if you want something like a fairy tale story. And there is Haruma Miura who is uber gorgeous, what sort of excuse you still need to watch it?

always ask yourself if it's worth it

Always ask yourself, "is it worth it?" In everything that you do, are doing and all the things you've done, is it worth all the effort. The pain? The laughter? Is it really worth it?
Hurting and leaving the person  who loves you and cares for you because you decided the other person is more attractive, more fun, more exciting, and more generous in her gifts, have a better future with them or simply because you think he/she more deserves your attension and love? Is it worth it now leaving the one who cares for you and loved you the best she thinks she can, just to be with that person you so adored at the moment. You were happy, you and that other person, while the other one whom you left is hurting and in pain but have no choice but to move on and let go. With just the hope and intention that you would be happy with the one you chose, still loving you even then you have already let go. And when the time comes, that the one you chose have found another, whom like you before, thought she found someone better than you and worth all the attention and love he/she could offer. Begging you to let her go, just be happy for her because she finally found the one for her. Now you think and reminisced how you were happy before with the one you let go, how you were pampered by her thoughtfulness and her loving nature. And realized that the one who you really want to be with for the rest of your life, the one who loves you truely and faithfully, and the one you have really grown to loved because of the time that you have been together. Realizing you want her back, you try to find her, asked her through common friends, tried calling her on her old contact numbers. But ironically, when you have found her, she was now happy seeing someone else. Though she might still has feelings for you, still loves you, but she couldn't give you another chance because she is having second thoughts, you who have left her when she needed you most or him, who have accepted and loved her at the worst time of her life... And when she finally decided to choose him, because she is also having this great feelings for him, though it is only on the few stages of their coursthip, she knows it would be a great kind of relationship. She asked your understanding, she still loves you, but that feeling is now slowly fading, that what she can only offer you is friendship. Now you're asking yourself, why? That was it worth it? Worth the lost of the one you truly loved...
